Hey guys, welcome to Learn Feng Shui, where you'll learn Feng Shui from a classical point of view taken out the myth and superstition. If you like weekly tips as well as fun folklore tales, you'll enjoy learning Feng Shui with me. Hey guys, since we're going into the month of the Tiger, I want to retell the tale of how the Tiger got ranked third in the Chinese zodiac. Coming to you from your Chinese astrology.com, which I will of course link to in the show notes. I will rank the third in the Chinese zodiac.
A long long time ago, a lion rather than the Tiger was the Chinese zodiac sign. However, the lion was too ferocious and notorious and so the J-Dampur was in charge of the Chinese zodiac wanted to remove the lion from the list and wanted to choose another animal to replace him. At this time, the J-Dampur were not the Tiger Guardian in front of the heavenly palace. Previously, the Tiger Guardian was unknown animal to earth. It learned various martial arts such as catching, flapping, biting, rushing and jumping from the master cat and became a warrior in the forest.
All the animals contesting or killed or injured. Since then, the Tiger became the king of the forest. Later, the J-Dampur heard that the Tiger was very brave so he ordered the Tiger to go to heaven. After coming to heaven, the Tiger defeated the Guardians of the J-Dampur and he became the new guardian. Sooner or later, as all bad kids do without a parent, the animals and birds act wildly because there was no one to take charge and they caused disaster to the human world.
The Land God reported to the heavenly palace and asked the J-Dampur to suppress the animals. The J-Dampur sent the Tiger to earth and the Tiger required the J-Dampur to record a merit for its every victory. For mortal world peace, the J-Dampur granted the Tiger's demand. After coming down the earth, the Tiger learned that the lion, the bear and the horse were the most powerful animals of the time. So it challenged them and defeated them with its power and excellent skill.
Other animals ran away upon learning the news and hid in the uninhabited forest. The mortal world was joyful and the human beings thank the Tiger for its great deeds. When the Tiger returned to the heavenly palace, the J-Dampur carved three horizontal lines on its forehead for its three victories. Later, the mortal world was disturbed by the East Sea Turtle Monster and the earth was in a great flood. The shrimp and crab did evil in the world.
This time the Tiger came to earth and bit the Turtle Monster to death. The J-Dampur was so happy that he carved a vertical line through the three horizontal lines. Therefore the eye-catching Chinese character, which I can't show you through the podcast, literally appeared on the Tiger's forehead. From then on the Tiger became King of all the animals and today we can still see the imposing Chinese character with the three lines with one through it in the forehead of tigers. So it's actually just referring to the pattern that's normally on a Tiger's forehead.
They say this represents the Chinese character that literally translates into King. Afterward the J-Dampur replaced the line with the Tiger on the list of the Chinese zodiac and the Tiger became the zodiac sign while the line was expelled to the distance cell. Of course the Tiger came to the mortal world from the heavenly palace to keep peace forever. For a free energy mapping of your floor plan, please check the link in the show notes.
