Monthly Energy Update: June

If you like weekly tips as well as fun folklore tales, you'll enjoy learning Feng Shui with me. Hey guys, let's look at the monthly energy for June. Guys, here we have coming into June, rounding out the first part of the year, crazy, right? So here we have the Bing Wu, the fire horse coming in for June, and it starts on June 5th, and that first cycle of jichi, it's a 15-day cycle of energy.

The first one within the month starts June 5th, and it goes to the 21st, and it is called planting of thorny crops. The qi cycle, which is the second 15-day cycle of energy, starts on June 21st and in July 6th. And of course, we have our summer solstice. I want to do something a little bit different this month. I actually want to talk about the animal signs, and I want to talk about a little something new, perhaps you're familiar with it, perhaps you're not, but something called your day master.

This is the element of the day you were born. So, you know, in Chinese astrology, we have our four-pillar charts, which is mainly what I take a look at during these monthly energy updates, but we're going to have our four pillars, which is the year you're born, the month you're born, the day you're born, and the hour you're born. The day you're born, you're going to want to look at the element on top of that animal sign. So, perhaps you have a dog, well, maybe you have a water dog, or you have a middle rooster, or a, you know, a fire horse, a water horse, right? So, that is the part I want to take a look at, and I want to talk about that first.

So, looking at what is called the heavenly stem, you want to look under the day you are born. This is called your day master. So, I'm just going to put a link to my blog. It shows you exactly where to look, and of course, there's an animal sign calculator below if you want to follow along. So, I would do that first.

Of course, go to learn.fungusway.com. Links in the show notes, but let's get started right away. The reason I want to talk about the day master element is because it is one of the most apparent ways the energy can affect you. So, the animal signs can combine in different ways, and can show you some different things, but your heavenly stem and the element that's on top is going to be the one that's most apparent to you. So, this will be the most interaction, and the interaction you see first.

So, what I'm going to look at is what's called the heavenly stem of the month. You know, it's a water, I mean, sorry, it's a fire horse month. So, you get this element of pure fire, and when we look at our element, our day master, we can kind of look at how that may affect us. So, I won't talk about this in two detailed way, like yin and yang polarity, or yin and yang polarity, but just more of a general kind of overview. So, let's get started with water.

So, water is actually the element that controls fire. Therefore, fire is water's wealth element. So, if you are a water day master, one of the things you can look for is wealth opportunity for the month. So, do be careful about overworking, because a lot of times instead of it actually just bringing you money or bringing you the opportunity, you might tend to overwork this month. So, really be careful, and try to take frequent breaks, be careful about overworking.

And if you are a man, or, you know, male, that could represent that you may be able to find love. So, remember that wealth is a man's wife or girlfriend. And so, anytime you see your wealth element out there, so, if you're a water element, anytime you see fire, that means maybe you have more attention this month, or maybe you have someone, you know, hitting on you, maybe there's some opportunity there, you know, it represents a wife or a girlfriend. So, if that's something you've been looking for, those opportunities could present themselves if you're a day master is water. So, keep out a lookout for wealth opportunity, be careful overworking, and keep an eye out for people, you know, interested in you if you're a man.

Next we'll go to wood. So, wood is the element that produces fire. So, fire is wood's creation or birth. And so, if you're wood, you give birth to fire. So, this can mean a couple different things.

And so, since it's the element that you produce, it's think of it as something you're giving birth to your expression, this creativity. It could honestly also mean that maybe you're fertile this month, you know, you have output to a woman it represents children. So, it could be that maybe you were more fertile this month if that's something you're planning to do, start a family, and your day master is wood, that may mean that you can have a child that, you know, or get pregnant this month. So, think of it in terms of that type of thing, but not, it's also represents creativity and expression, and self-expression, and communication. So, be careful of speaking out of term, you know, maybe you're being too vocal about things, maybe you need to learn how to communicate what you're trying to say and make it a little bit more effective, kind of refine your speech, because sometimes we do tend to speak out before we talk.

So, gather your thoughts, and just use it as a time to maybe you can brainstorm if you are an artist of some type, you can use this month to really kind of express yourself and, you know, really kind of put that into your work. So, this month for you could be a month of creativity and production. So, if your day master already is fire, that means you have something called the friend element coming in. So, this is because the elements are the same, it's like you go to a party and you see somebody with the same shoes, and you know, your best friends, right? Oh, you know, we look the same were the same.

So, sometimes a person can actually benefit from having a the same element or that friend element come in, and usually this is when your chart is weak. So, if you don't know what that means, don't worry about it. But if you have a week day master, usually you benefit from the extra energy that's put in. So, one of the drawbacks is that if you already have a high fire energy, that could mean that maybe you feel more competitive this month. So, in some ways and some configurations, it could mean, you know, like competitors, but it also can represent you comparing yourself to others.

People that have a high element of friends in their chart or high element that's you know, kind of the same. A lot of times it represents that you feel like you have to be competitive against your friend group, you know, they all have a certain car. And so, you're like, I want to be like that. And I want to have that car too, or I want to, you know, make this purchase because I saw my friends or, you know, maybe they're going out and you don't really have the money, but you want to go out with them and you'll keep up with them. It's been money with them.

So, do be careful in clashes. Of course, about your finances and trying to keep up with the Joneses this month. So, you know, be careful, be careful for that. It could mean many social events too. So, if you've been missing your friends, maybe it's a really good month for you to be social.

Kind of get yourself out there. Next is Earth. So, remember that fire creates Earth. So, it's known as Earth's resource element. So, generally when something is feeding into the element that is your day master or the resource element comes in, generally it's a pretty good thing.

You know, it's not too many times that you're like, oh darn, I wish I had less resources, right? It's the same thing with the element. So, again, just kind of depending on whether your day master is weaker strong, you could really benefit from this extra fire. A lot of times it's supportive of health issues. It also can represent sometimes your mother, your mother figure, especially to a female because their resource is their mother.

And so, you know, since it's creating this Earth element, it's creating you. Sometimes it can come across as overbearing. If you pile too much Earth on top of Earth, you just create a mountain and you bury things. So, it would be cautious of not hiding your feelings this month. And also, of feeling a little bit like, just, you know, like, why are so many people like try to mother me, your love me, your, you know, kind of accept that and just realize that sometimes we just come across as energy, especially if you already have an overbearing mother.

Maybe it's a month that you want to learn to communicate with her, send some boundaries with her. So, just, yeah. So, but generally, it can benefit you and it generally will benefit health. So, if you are a fire element and you've had some health issues, it's a really good time to also tackle that. Last is metal.

So, fire is the element that metal controls. So, for that, it is called the influence element or the influencing element. A lot of times it's called, like, seven killings or hurting officer, you know, those are the terms we would use for it. So, for a strong metal person, the fire energy may be a little bit more bearable. So, because it's a clashing energy, it can be rough for a person that has a lot of metal.

Because, again, it's the element that is literally controlling you. If you think of what fire does to metal, is it refines it, you know, it shapes it and molds it. It does also represent, though, a love interest or a partner or a husband to a metal daymaster female. So, if you're female in your daymasters, metal, that means you could actually find, you know, you might be able to find them. Love this month.

Maybe you have some potential shooters, maybe you feel more attractive. Also, the fire does the being fire, the big fire that's in for the month, it does combine with the Yin metal elements. So, if you're a center Yin metal daymaster, you could have a combination there. It does create the extra element of water. So, again, if you are a Yin metal daymaster, you could potentially find somebody this month that could be suitable for you.

So, if you're dating, that's one of the biggest things I would say. If you're looking today and you're dating this month, then it's a really good month for you. And now, let's look at the animal sign. So, again, the horse, it's the month of the horse. So, if you're a half a horse, you have Duke's arrival.

Anytime the animal sign comes in, that is already present in the month or the year it's, you have the grand Duke. And so, it's like a thing where you feel visibly more seen. And so, let me explain this this way. So, the other day, I was wearing a dress and everybody kept pointing out the stupid bruise on my arm and I had no clue where it came from. And I just feel like everyone was just like picking a meal, looking at me and they're like, where did you get that bruise from?

What is that? What is that? And so, it's that type of energy where you feel like more conspicuous or like, why is everyone looking at me? Why is everyone noticing me at this time? And that's kind of the same energy that you could experience if you have a horse in your natal chart.

So, again, look for things that combine with that energy, because it helps take some of this away. If you look for a day that contains the dog, then you have a lot of combination and support and then you have a lot of fire energy. So, it'll kind of just, you know, help connect things in that way and the energy will kind of, when you have combinations, it takes away some of the negative things. However, a lot of events could be happening, but it's okay, look at the dog day. Between the dog days and the tiger year, you have what is called the, you know, the trinity.

You have the three, the three combination, which grates that element of fire. It is a lot of fire, so I do recommend, you know, taking time to, you know, breathe through things. If you feel too stressed out, if you feel things are moving too fast, because fires are very fast energy, then just take a little breather, take a step back and just be like, okay, it's just the energy. I'm going to get through it and it's okay. Again, kind of the same information, kind of the same advice I have if you have a dog or a tiger.

So, if you have a dog or a tiger, this horse comes in this month, you have that fire frame. The one thing that I would say, I think you can use that fire energy, go back and listen or look at that blog post where I talk about what fire is to you. And so, if you look at your day master and you look at the what that relation is, you can see kind of how it's going to affect you. Remember each pillar also affects you in different ways, you know, the year is more connected to your social circle. The month is connected a lot to your family.

Your, as far as your parents and that type of family. And your career, your job, and then the day you're born is connected towards your health and your relationship, your personal relationship with your partner, and the hour is about your children and also could be your work environment. So, those are the areas that could affect you. If you have a dog or tiger in one of these areas of the horse, look in that area and that column that when it represents, then look at what fire is to you. You can kind of make some predictions about, oh, is it going to be excessive?

Is it going to be too much fire? One thing that I am happy about this fire creating is we don't have a lot of fire in the year. And so, we have a little bit of fire because fire is a part of that tiger, you know, the tiger is part of that fire frame. And so, we have a tiny bit of fire in there, but it's really going to create this big impact and this big frame of fire, especially for you people to have the dog, the tiger, or the horse. And so, when you look at that, one good thing could be that the spirituality, like, it represents spirituality, passion, and happiness.

And so, if you look at it in that way, if you're lacking fire, if you can really benefit from it, then I think it could really benefit you to do things like meditation or kind of reconnect, especially if you felt like a void of like spiritual, you know, practices, and you're like, I really want to get back into it. It's a really good month for you to do that. If you have a goat, you actually combine with the month of the horse, you combine, and it does create the element of fire, but sometimes I've heard it called the sun in the moon. And so, to mean what that means is that you have help when you need it. So, if you think of the sun in the moon, usually those are referred to as the nobles, and the sun in the moon, noble help with problem solving.

And so, this could be a really good month for you to do some problem solving and get some help from the divine pray for some answers, and just know that divine interventions on your side when you need it. Now, looking at the seasonal combination, which are the three animal signs that make up the season, you have the snake and the goat, and then you have the horse come in, which create the element of fire, you know, there's summer season animals, and they create the element of fire. And again, if more so, if you have the snake and the goat, than any other animal signs, remember there's a order of precedence that come in, and one of the highest ones or one of the most impactful ones is the snake and the goat with the horse, you know, snake horse goat. So, it's those three animal signs, because this combination takes precedence over all the other combinations. So, that's why it's so strong.

So, if you already have a snake and a goat, and this horse month comes in, then you have a very, very strong element of fire. And so, again, looking at what fire is to you, like, if it's your wealth, if it's your output, if it's your your influence, you know, just kind of look at that and how it can impact you in that way. So, the fire, I will say, again, kind of what I said before, just looking at spiritual practices, looking at, reconnecting with divine and looking at what makes you really happy right now is I think a really good thing for you to do. What animal clashes this month is, of course, is the rat. The clash animal is the animal sign that opposes the energy that is governing the month.

It's across from on the zodiac and opposition. And it's the rat. So, this is a month where you may feel a clash, you know, you may feel that. And so, what I suggest would be placing a fan in South East one that houses this animal sign of a dragon within your home. You can place a, you know, maybe a plant there, a fan seems to work better, or a little water fountain, or I wouldn't suggest a fish tank, I think, has too much energy right there, when there's not other energies to, you know, this is just to support you throughout the month.

So, just a little, something that provides movement for you, which usually is like a little fan or radio in the area of Southeast one, activating that dragon, will take this clash away. So, remember every animal sign that we find in our needle chart, we can find within our home, and we can make combinations with them. And remember, combinations will take a clash away. And so, you know, the rat does clash with the month. A lot of people are really worried about the animal sign that the clash is that they're big thing as they fear this the most.

But what I will say is sometimes combining animal signs can actually be more impactful because so many events take place. So, just the clashing animal sign is not always necessarily a bad thing. If you want to create change, this would be a really good month for that to happen. But remember, if you need a little bit more support, you can activate the Southeast one, which is the dragon to activate that supportive energy. All right, looking at the Feng Shui for June, the best sectors. I think the Southeast is one of my favorites. It really is one of my favorites for the year. It's very useful. Last year we couldn't use it because the five star was hanging out there.

It's fairly good this year. So, it's really good if you want to for health, you know, for like health reasons. The four star supposed to represent the health. It's also supposed to represent intelligence, so you could activate the yearly flying star there by just like putting a flower in plant that sits in water. If you have the rat in your natal chart, that is one area also you can activate the flower in plant.

And Southeast two you can activate with like fan movement, a little radio in the area, to activate the fame star. So, you can definitely do that for Southeast two. If you are one that makes online content, do TikToks or want to, you know, have some notoriety, I'm activating the Southeast two. It's really good energy for that. Next is the Northwest.

So, it's okay to use with that. It has a 68 combination of flying stars. You can place a candle in Northeast two, which actually also activates the Yen noblemen or the Yen noblemen. I can't remember which one. There's a noblemen there that we activate in Northeast two.

And you can leave that activation really up until the summer solstice. So, here we have the crap areas. So, the worst sectors. So, avoid activating these. General uses just find remember flying stars are activated with movement and the earth shaws, which are like your three killings and all those, those things that we don't like the grand dukes, all that.

Those are activated with renovations and digging. So, those are the ways that, that these areas can be activated negatively. So, the east of course, the five-vellow, the five-star goes to the east, the five-store. It does seem to be a little bit problematic in the east. And more so than the southeast and the southeast, it's under control.

So, next month when the five moves there, it's really not that big a deal. So, the big one energy really, it's if you think about it, it's like earth and this, you know, the earth of the five-vellow and the big energy of big wood, a clashing. And so, it's just, I don't know, I don't love it. I feel like I did not like it when the stars were there for 2020. And yeah, it's a little bit problematic.

So, again, this is just airy, keep quiet, avoid your renovations. And I personally will probably add a little bit of salt water cure to this area. I don't talk a lot about using cures, but for the monthly stars, I generally think the salt water is fine. I don't love moving a lot of metal around. You could use the seven metal coins or six metal coins that tends to work too.

Generally, I tend to like six, the six coins because it does represent that chanter that heaven, that, that, that, that, that, that, and so it represents the tragrum of metal, it's actually, of metal. And so, a six coin, little hanging thing is fine, or a salt water cure, which is really just a mason jar with some salt, a water in it, use rock sea salt. And you can put some metal or some coins in that six coins in there. So, those are some things you can do. I personally kind of like using the salt water when I don't have a lot of options.

And I also use things, I don't know if you're familiar with what is called an organic generator. So, the organ generator, it's those pyramids that are filled with like crystals and wire and stuff like that. I will move that around sometimes if I can't, a quote unquote cure, put like a, a Feng Shui cure, like a salt cure, the organ generators are actually another really easy way to, to me to kind of manage the energy within a space. So, you do have to make a big enough for the sector. So, just putting a small jar of salt water, if you have a large space, might not be as effective.

So, just kind of kind of think about that, but I generally tend to prefer the salt water cures. So, the north is another area that I will avoid for the month. So, really, this energy here is going to be your energy you do not want to renovate with. So, this is particularly, it can be particularly impactful if you do a renovation because you can hit with the three killings, which is there for the year already. But then you have it there for the month.

And you have what is called the month breaker or the, the, that soy poe, because remember that the rats, it's directly crossed from the horse and the zodiac. So, it can be very impactful particularly if your house sits on this energy, like if you're in north two, if your house sits on north two. So, you know, just be careful about the impact of this energy. Again, I kind of like it because it's not horrible because the, it's not going to be as impactful if you don't do renovation. So, it's not going to be activated unless you renovate, dig or do some stupid.

So, just don't do that for the month really. It's fine. Find another area to work with and ignore the north for the month. You don't really need to place anything here, but it's just an area you want to be cautious of and not renovate.
